Experience - Native English speaking students and
graduates are required to teach English in Asia as part
of the Teach Thailand program. A placement fee is required
but the placement comes with a realistic salary. Placements
are offered in either Bangkok, Chang Mai or Hat Yai: working
with children, teenagers or professionals, you may be teaching
at primary or secondary schools, community or business colleges.
All these places offer a different living experience and
you may have the opportunity to exchange with another student
after three months of your program. Programs are also now
available in Vietnam and Cambodia. |

Ape Challenge, involves raising a minimum of £2750
for a close up view of the Oranutan home in Tanjung Puting
Park, Borneo. |

Brigades International - PBI has branches in 15
countries and recruits volunteers to act as international
observers and to accompany local human rights activists
in conflict areas. They began working in Guatemala in 1983
and have run projects in El Salvador and Sri Lanka. Currently,
PBI are operating in Columbia, Indonesia, West Timor, Haiti,
Mexico and the Balkans. |

J Scuba Diving Co Ltd - Candidates have the opportunity
to study scuba diving to instructor level and then teach
in Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia upon graduation. There
is no entry qualification apart from good interpersonal
skills and the ability to swim. Included in the price is
accommodation, insurance and one meal per day plus a full
set of scuba diving equipment, all certification fees, manuals,
training aids and full training. On completion of the internship
program PJ Scuba assist you to find work in S.E. Asia. The
internship program is ongoing and can be joined at any time
convenient to the candidate. They also offer additional
specialty courses free of charge tailored to the individual
needs of the applicant such as underwater photography, marine
